Come Fairies, take me out of this dull world, for I would ride with you upon the wind, and dance upon the mountains like a flame!
~W.B. Yeats

Had I the heaven's embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,

The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet.

But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams...

the cake

I just had to include this here...
So, it was my birthday and my sister put the cake on the table when no human eyes were watching. My daughter and I walked by and saw it there.
With a BITE out of the corner.
 And there was my sweet puppy, Ruby. Looking like she knew something.
 Holly and I laughed and when I went to get the camera to take the picture, the guilty party moved in quickly and tried to get another bite! LOL

My girl wasn't guilty afterall.
Never assume... never believe anything you hear and only HALF of what you see!

Oh dear! That happened one year when I baked a swan cake for our daughter. The dog got a good chomp off the chest. I cut it off and patched in a new piece and refrosted. All was well. ;)

Heehee, yes, I've seen that look before : )

We thought we had 'partners-in-crime' ...it transpired however, that our youngest puppy would only do her mischief when her brother was there to blame it on. He was the 'scape-goat dog!' She would jump (enormous heights), pull things down and then 'invite' her brother to the party. He was then, usually, the one caught-in-the-act; so to speak : P

They are so clever...and keep us on our toes.

Brilliant photo Narita!
