Come Fairies, take me out of this dull world, for I would ride with you upon the wind, and dance upon the mountains like a flame!
~W.B. Yeats

Had I the heaven's embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,

The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet.

But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams...

The Attic's donation item

We've decided!

We're going to stitch the most fabulous design for the donation. Its "Peace" by A Stitcher's Hand. Kind of re-done into smaller parts so it can be inserted into the Cici's Sewing Casket box.

Here's a pic of what I have so far (which doesn't look like much, but its taken me nearly a full week to get this much!) I thought it was to be black Assisi work, but the design calls for 3031 brown.

I am stitching it on 32 count over 1, so its itsy bitsy.
