Come Fairies, take me out of this dull world, for I would ride with you upon the wind, and dance upon the mountains like a flame!
~W.B. Yeats

Had I the heaven's embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,

The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet.

But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams...

A Gift for ME!

I belong to B.A.S.G. (Bay Area Sampler Guild) and each year we draw names. The person whose name we draw, is who we make a stitched gift for. Last year I got Eilene Cross and made her that tote bag (that I'm happy to say she uses constantly!) and of all people THIS YEAR to get me, was HER! lol Eilene Cross, MS. (Master Stitcher) She made me this gorgeous needlebook. If you look closely, you can see all the queen stitches on the front. Its just so pretty and I LOVE it!!!!! THEN, if it wasn't already gorgeous enough...she crocheted the edging! Eilene actually teaches at Lacis, which I understand is a fabulous store (though I've yet to drive up there, but I like their website).
Here's a picture of the inside. THANK YOU, EILENE!
