Come Fairies, take me out of this dull world, for I would ride with you upon the wind, and dance upon the mountains like a flame!
~W.B. Yeats

Had I the heaven's embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,

The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet.

But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams...

a little creature

I found this little kit in some of my mom's things. Its very small, I am thinking 3 inches square, probably. I stitched it in bed. Without my magnifier. Without very good lighting, either. It made me use different arm muscles. lol And strain in other ways. haha When I kept finding mistakes and things I had to take out, I decided to put some glasses on. OH THAT HELPED! Glasses were a good invention. So were magnifying lenses. And especially so are those clamp ones that I use all the time on my QSnaps! I didn't use it on this little thing and when I enlarge it, I can sure tell! Plus I didn't do railroading and there are many places that have blended threads. All in all, its a cute little thing. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it at this point. Have a fun Sunday!p.s. Annette, where in California are you? I wanted to send you an email, but my computer tells me I don't have my mail client set up properly. pfffft!

Very sweet. How funny about stitching in bed.

I have the same kit you stitched. Looks lovely - love the Autumn colors. I'm in Antioch. My email address Nordi99@aol.com
Make sure not to over strain your eyes - But I understand wanting to keep busy.
