Come Fairies, take me out of this dull world, for I would ride with you upon the wind, and dance upon the mountains like a flame!
~W.B. Yeats

Had I the heaven's embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,

The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet.

But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams...

Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine

Last week I pulled Eleanor out of her hiding place and began working on her again. I'm amazed at how lovely she is. She is a Heaven and Earth design that I started a couple years ago. (Some of you may remember seeing my progress of her back in...2009?) The area behind her head that was the light of the sun was too gold for my taste and I had to remove a LARGE section of it. I had done that and lost interest (picking out one over one--25 count--was NOT fun). Well, I picked new colors and started working on her again. I'm super happy with the changes. And I got addicted to getting the horses face done. :) I plan to condence the original design to what is shown on this card I am posting. I don't feel the need to stitch all that background and "extra stuff". So here is what I have for now.
