Come Fairies, take me out of this dull world, for I would ride with you upon the wind, and dance upon the mountains like a flame!
~W.B. Yeats

Had I the heaven's embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,

The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet.

But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams...

Mary Queen of Scots

Here's something I recently finished, Mary queen of Scots by Papillon Creations

Her version was with one color and in mine, I used 3, plus a varigated Glorrianna.

Hers also had an alphabet, but I'm not an alphabet girl, so I eliminated it.

I did this on 32 count, over 1.

Hopefully, one day soon I will get the perfect gold frame made for it.

This is gorgeous Narita! I had asked you about this on the Needle and Thread board, but completely missed your reply. Thanks so much for pointing the way to your blog...you are a lovely stitcher!
